Sundays at One CHURCH
Whether you’ve been part of a church community for decades or you’re just starting to explore faith for the very first time, there is a seat here for you. Our gatherings are friendly, informal, and modern—we’re a "come as you are" kind of place.
We value worship that is Spirit filled, community that is genuine, and biblical teaching that is practical and which has real depth to it.
Morning Services: 9 am & 11 am
Our morning services are vibrant and multi-generational. While you’ll find people of all ages here, these services are particularly popular with families.
Kids & Creche: We love having kids as part of our church family! At both the 9 am and 11 am services, we offer dedicated primary school ministry, as well as kinder and creche programs.
Youth Church: For those in Grade 5 through to Year 8, we run a specific Youth Church program during the 9 am service. It’s a space designed specifically for them to connect and grow.
Evening Service: 5:30 pm
Our evening service has a slightly different energy—it’s a popular spot for high school students, young adults, and their families (though, like all our services, everyone is welcome!).
Youth and Young Adults: If you’re a young adult or youth, the gathering doesn't end when the service does. Most weeks, a crew heads out to a local spot for dinner together afterward. It’s the best way to kick off the week.
What to Expect
The Vibe: Relaxed and welcoming. You don’t need to dress up - come as you are and participate as much as you feel comfortable to. Services typically go for 75-85 minutes.
The Music: Our worship style is modern and heartfelt. We make room for the Spirit to move and even sing a few songs that our worship team has written themselves.
The Teaching: We take the Bible seriously. You can expect teaching that is grounded in scripture but speaks directly to the complexities of modern life.
The Community: We’re big on "village." Stick around for a coffee and a chat—we’d love to get to know you.
Parking: While we are blessed to have amazing car parking facilities in the middle of Blackburn, it does fill up quickly! You can find alternative parking across the road at Blackburn Primary School or in the residential streets opposite the church.
New to One?: We know walking into a new place can be a bit daunting. Look out for our welcome team at the front doors they’re there to help you find a seat, check your kids into their programs, or to simply point you to the coffee. We also have a “Lounge” area in our foyer with friendly faces who would love to meet you and help you learn more about our community.
