Questioning Christianity?

We all have questions about life, meaning, and faith. Some are small. Others keep us up at night.

Questioning Christianity is a 7-week series of messages at One Church, where we’re tackling some of life’s hardest questions in a way that’s open, thoughtful, and real.

No jargon. No judgment. Just honest exploration of ideas that matter.

Each Sunday, we’re tackling one question. A talk. Time to think. A chance to see how Christianity engages with the things we all wonder about.

JOIN US In Person

Each Sunday through this service, you’re invited to join us in at One Church in Blackburn at 10am or 5.30pm, where we’ll be tackling these questions.

  • 10 August: How can I believe something I can't prove?

  • 17 August: Does life have any real purpose?

  • 24 August: What does it mean to be happy?

  • 31 August: What are humans for?

  • 7th September: Father’s Day Service

  • 14 September: Can we be good without God?

  • 21 September: Do humans have inherent rights?

  • 28 September: Is there any hope for the future?

Watch the Series Online

We’ll be videoing all of the talks in this series and will publish each one on this page below, so if you’re unable to join us in person they’ll be here in the days after the talk was given.

Week 1: How Can I Believe in Something I can’t Prove?

If you ever have any questions about the talks shoot us a message via our contact form and we’ll be in touch.

If this series has sparked your curiosity and you’d like to explore further, we’re running our next Alpha Course in October.

Alpha is a series of 9 evenings of dinner and conversation where people of all backgrounds can come together and explore questions of life, Jesus and faith. There is no pressure, no judgement and it’s free!
